We had the opportunity to film the Burberry Takeover at Harrods for Harrods Partnerships. Our job was to make sure we captured every bit of this epic brand activation, showcasing the blend of classic and modern vibes that both brands are known for. We aimed to tell a story that not only looked cool but also felt like you were right there, experiencing the luxury firsthand.

Challenge

The main challenge? Capturing the sheer scale and elegance of the Burberry Takeover without missing a beat or interfering with store operations. It was all about getting those perfect shots of the exclusive collections, the unique installations, and the one of a kind Harrods Façade lit blue. We had to make sure our footage did justice to the activations grandeur while keeping things relatable and engaging for viewers.

Solution

Our game plan was to capture from outside and work in, starting with the façade. We worked closely with Harrods Partnerships to plan logistics for aerial filming and permitting. We shot everything outside of store hours, in order to not effect any customer flow, and made sure we nailed the essence of the each location of the activation from every angle. Think stunning visuals, dynamic close ups, and a little surprise with the iconic Harrods' green men, dressed in the Burberry knight blue check to top it all off.

Outcome

The video visually depicts the takeovers impact. We delivered six engaging videos, including five dynamic shorts tailored for social media platforms and one comprehensive recap of the entire activations. These videos highlighted different aspects of the takeover, from close-up looks at the merchandise to the wide open shots of the exhibition space.
